The piece, as yet untitled, is about the marking of a passing. Three performers must mark and move through passing of some kind. The choreography will be combinations of solos, duets and unison movement exploring the release, frustrations and joy inherent in passing.

 

The first week of development took place as part of Creative Summer at Dance City in August 2024; and a second period of development in September supported by the Goethe Institut. During this time we began to understand the space in which the action takes place and explore structure.

The next stage of work will be supported by the Goethe Insitut who will host another period of development in March 2025. We aim to create and premiere the work in 2025.
